My dear wife, as you know,
with the coming new year
one more spring will join us
to add to the others
we enjoy could already.
Since  the winter’s the season
we are facing together,
we do have to prepare
to welcome and greet
day by day our love.
When the soft white snow
disappears and reveals
naked rocks in the green
and to us sweet mountains
and the grey heavy clouds
leave the place to blue sky,
when the colours appear
of the flowers and the life
triumphs in every site,
the spring we can certainly
meet quite easier, dear wife.
